By accessing this website and registering for a membership, we assume you accept these terms and conditions in full. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not continue to use the platform.
1. Membership Accounts and Security
To access our piano lessons, you must create a membership account.
Account Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.
Confidentiality: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account. You agree not to share your login credentials with others.
One User Per Account: Each membership is for a single user only. Sharing an account with multiple people may lead to immediate suspension without a refund.
Account Termination: We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent activity.
2. Membership payments, cancellations and refunds
Seven-day first-membership refund promise. If your first paid Tshepho Piano membership is not right for you, email info@tshephopiano.co.za within seven calendar days of that payment to request a full refund. You may use this promise even if you have started a lesson or used a member tool. It applies once per person to the first paid membership purchase, rather than automatically to each renewal. It does not limit any refund right provided by law.
Recurring payments. The price, billing interval and recurring-payment terms shown at checkout apply to your chosen plan. Cancel the renewal from your membership account before the next scheduled payment, or contact us if you cannot access the cancellation controls. Keep the cancellation confirmation.
Stopping renewal and ending access are different. When a renewal cancellation is confirmed for the end of the paid period, access continues until the confirmed end date. If you want to end an annual membership early, send us a written request. We will refund the unused prepaid portion from the effective termination date on a pro-rata basis without a cancellation penalty. Where a statutory notice period applies, the effective date and refund will respect that law. Refunded access ends on the agreed termination date.
After seven days. A change of mind does not automatically create a refund for an already-used monthly billing period. Contact us about an unexpected renewal, duplicate payment, access failure or a service that was not supplied as promised. We will investigate the payment or service issue and provide any remedy required by law, including an appropriate refund where applicable.
How to request a refund. Include your account email, order reference and payment date. You do not need to provide a reason when using the first-membership seven-day promise. Do not email a password or full card details. Eligible refunds are returned through the original payment method where possible, within 30 calendar days of the valid cancellation or refund request, or sooner where the law requires. We will confirm the amount and any change to access; your bank or payment provider may take additional time to show the credit.
Your South African consumer rights. Nothing in these Terms excludes or reduces applicable rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002, including any applicable cooling-off, cancellation, prepaid-service or service-quality rights. The seven-day membership promise is an additional commitment; it does not depend on waiving those rights. For a complaint, contact us first at info@tshephopiano.co.za. You may also approach the appropriate consumer-protection body.
3. Intellectual Property Rights
Unless otherwise stated, Tshepho Piano owns the intellectual property rights for all material on this platform, including videos, sheet music, and text. All rights are reserved.
You are strictly prohibited from:
Downloading, screen-recording, or redistributing our video lessons.
Selling, renting, or sub-licensing any material from the site.
Using our content for commercial purposes or public performances without written consent.
“Framing” our content to make it appear as part of another website.
4. User-Generated Content & Comments
Parts of this website allow users to post comments or progress updates.
Ownership: You grant Tshepho Piano a non-exclusive license to use or edit your comments in our marketing or community sections.
Moderation: We do not pre-screen comments but reserve the right to remove any content that is offensive, defamatory, or violates a third party’s intellectual property.
Liability: Comments reflect the views of the user, not the views of Tshepho Piano.
5. Cookies
The website uses cookies to personalize your experience and manage your login session. By using our platform, you agree to the use of required cookies. Some third-party services (like video players or payment processors) may also use cookies to ensure their features function correctly.
6. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
We strive to provide high-quality piano instruction, but we do not guarantee specific musical results.
Service Availability: We do not warrant that the website will be 100% available at all times. Maintenance or technical issues may occur.
No Professional Advice: The content is for educational purposes only.
Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tshepho Piano shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform. Since this is now a paid service, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your current membership term.
7. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to amend these terms at any time. We will notify members of significant changes via email or a site-wide announcement. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
